What is a device license?
A device license is a licensing model where purchasing just one license for a single computer (device) eliminates the need for additional licenses for multiple users of that computer. Similarly, with on-premise servers, purchasing just one license per server allows all users accessing that server to use the service. We’ve named this “device license” to help reduce your running costs. Cloud computing works similarly; purchasing just one license for a single cloud environment means that even if 500 people are accessing that environment at any given time, that single license purchase covers all users.
